Crochet empowered me in more ways than one. Not only it helped me get rid of my intermittent mood swings. Crochet also helped me establish my own business.

Not too long ago, I had everything, literally everything going against me.

Job — Nada

Bank balance — Zero

Credit score — Zilch

Relationship — Sifar

Negativity — All time high

Toxicity with and around — Gianormous

To tell you the truth, if there is an antonym for cloud no.9, trust me I was there — down and under.

It was during that time, each and everything triggered my migraine. For days, I remained confined in my room. No contact with the outer world.

My family and a few friends were the only support I had at that time. My sisters did everything to cheer me up. And yes, my parents always had my back.

My First Step Towards Success

Here is a piece of advice for anyone who is experiencing a bad patch. Try as much as possible to stay away from negative people. People who talk about things that make you unhappy. Stuff related to death, breakup, failure or loss. Avoid those who are always backbiting and badmouthing people behind their back.

Remember, if they can say such stuff about others in front of you and behind their back. Quite naturally, they will do the same to you. Behind your back.

Practice Aura Cleansing on a regular basis.

On the advice of my therapist, I started meditation and deep breathing exercises. Soon enough, I could feel the change within myself.

No more did I remain cooped up inside my room for days. I enjoyed going out. Meeting old friends. Spending more time with family. Reading books and enjoying music and movies. Exploring new travel destinations was there on my wishlist.

Certainly, the insufficient fund was an issue. So, I needed to do something about it.

Definitely and surely, making money was the only thing that would reinstate order in my life.

How To Make Money?

I badly needed an answer to this question. There are so many ways to make money online. Surprisingly enough, there are ways with which you can make money from home. Internet is full of information regarding money-making ideas. There are side hustles, passive income ideas, and what not.

As luck would have it, during my therapy, I took up a new hobby. I learned to do crochet.

The first time I held a crochet hook in my hand and wrapped the yarn around it to pull up a stitch. That one moment changed my life.

Surely, it was a life-changing moment for me. It was my “The Moment.”

Once again, I got myself locked inside a room. But this time the reason was positive. I was doing something productive. Something creative.

Crochet became the source of happiness for me. When I held the soft colorful cakes of yarn in my hands. It was a moment of total bliss.

Of course, crochet means happiness.

My Crochet Designs

Initially, the response was mixed. Some said I lacked the skill whereas there were many who supported me wholeheartedly.

Slowly and gradually I picked up a pace. And then, the day of my first order arrived. For the first time, I was actually on cloud no.9.

After successfully completing and delivering my first order. I was way over the moon.

Soon enough, more clients came to me for baby blankets, crochet bags, caps, and jewelry.

Naturally, I was on the roll. It took years for me to reach where I am now. Nevertheless, it was worth all the waiting.

Don’t worry about competition. Chase your dreams. If you love what you do, you will create lovely things. Chase your desire, soon enough, success will chase you.
